EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi said Sunday he was self-isolating after a member of his team tested positive for COVID-19.
Várhelyi posted on Twitter that pending new test results, he and team members concerned were self-isolating in line with public health guidelines.
“I feel well, have no symptoms, my tests in past week were negative. Stay safe!” he tweeted.
Last week, EU Commissioner Várhelyi paid official visit to North Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Montenegro to present the European Commission’s report on Western Balkans.
