STATEMENT OF THE DAY: Delevski, secondary school professor: Online teaching is an opportunity for a collective change of the educational process
“Online teaching is a challenge and a reassessment of the education models. It is a challenge because of its newness and the multifaceted simplification of the transfer of knowledge, where the reassessment is also because of the different work conditions of both the teachers and students and because of the additional need of creative solutions and applicability of the teaching material. Online teaching has an opportunity to be not just a replacement, but rather rebirth of education, but only if we are persistent in the initial period and the results are maintained in the long – term– as a vision of the future and as an opportunity for improvements in the educational system on the built system” says professor Delevski.
CIVIL ACTIVIES
Green CIVIL: Green policies in the focus of the local government in Gevgelia
CIVIL, as part of the Green Caravan activities, today held a workshop in Gevgelia, at the National Theater in Gevgelia (House of Culture).
Biljana Jordanovska from CIVIL was moderator of the workshop, with President of CIVIL Xhabir Deralla presenting the project. In the presence of the media, Mayor of the Municipality of Gevgelia Sasho Pockov and the President of the Council, Todor Ristov spoke on the topic green values, social justice and antinationalism.
“The slogan under which I ran in the 2017 local elections was “Modern, European and Green Gevgelia”. A large part of the capital infrastructure projects leads towards Gevgelia being a green municipality. With our current activities we also pay much attention to the greenery. I want to send a message of a positive practice in Gevgelia: many issues regarding the opening of mines and factories that could be major polluters of Gevgelia have been rejected at the session of the Municipal Council, in transparent procedures in cooperation with the citizens. The ultimate message is that we hear the citizens, the non-governmental organizations and everything we do is in the direction of making Gevgelia modern, European and green”, said Sasho Pockov, Mayor of Gevgelia in a joint statement for the media with the team of Green CIVIL.
