CIVIL, as part of the Green Caravan activities, will hold a workshop in Gevgelia, on Tuesday, September 29, starting at 11.00 am, in the hall of the National Theater in Gevgelia (House of Culture).

Representatives of the Municipality and Municipal Council, institutions, civil society organizations, green initiatives, political parties, media and activists in the respective areas will take part in the workshop. Participation of no more than 20 participants is anticipated, in compliance to the COVID-19 protection measures.

Biljana Jordanovska from CIVIL will be moderator of the workshop, with President of CIVIL Xhabir Deralla presenting the project. The Mayor of the Municipality of Gevgelia, Sasho Pockov, will also address the workshop, as well as the Vice-President of the Council, Toso Ristov and the Director of the Public Enterprise “Komunalec”, Zlatko Zumrov.

The Green Caravan will end with a national conference dedicated to green values and strategies, as the only sustainable alternative for society and the state. The Green Caravan is part of the project “The Greens Are Coming”, implemented in partnership with the Heinrich Bǒll Foundation.
