Flood in the SPO
In a flood due to a ruptured heating pipe in the basement of the SPO last week, the documentation for the three cases “Empire”, Three Hundred” and “Spy” has been destroyed, and the information for the TV show “360 degrees” on Alsat M television station was confirmed by the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office.
“Because the entire heating system installation had been worn out, one of the pipes of that system leaked in the building where the SPO is located, thus flooding part of the documentation for several cases that are being led in this Public Prosecution, among which “Empire”, “Three hundred” and “Spy”. It should be taken into consideration that the documents are scanned in this Public Prosecutor’s Office, but if it is concluded that there are documents that have not been put in electronic form, then their renewal will be required. Currently, the reasons for the specific case are being investigated and an internal procedure is being carried out in order to prepare an inventory and an estimation of the total damage”, is said in the SPO’s response.
Two more countries will ratify the NATO Accession Protocol
The President of Parliament, Talat Xhaferi, will be paying a working visit to Romania and Lithuania from today. In both EU and NATO member countries, Xhaferi will be attending the act of ratification of the NATO Accession Protocol for Macedonia.
In the Parliament of Romania, the session is announced for tomorrow, while in Lithuania the act will take place on Thursday.
Spasovski “survives” the interpellation
The interpellation against Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski did not pass in Parliament. The MPs yesterday with 59 votes “against”, 20 votes “for” and 10 abstentions voted for Spasovski to continue to manage the police. The request for interpellation opened a fierce debate in parliament.
