On Sunday, during the violent protests and increased tensions, photos of injured protestors appeared on the social networks, which soon were found to be fake.
Posting photos of an injured young girl and even more of an older woman will cause emotions in everyone, and that is why posting false photos is a conscious incitement of violence and hatred. Persons with academic titles sharing them makes the manipulation even greater. The calls for blood shedding and civil war are something for which the police and the public prosecutor’s office should have reacted to, as it happened in Greece with the arrest of the owner of the publishing house who called for liquidation of Tsipras and the entire Greek government, and as it happened with the MP from Golden Dawn who demanded the arrest of Tsipras and a military coup.
