The citizens in Strumica yesterday, at 8.30 pm at the City Square, had the opportunity to learn about citizen journalism through video projections, music and through a conversation with the team of CIVIL – Center for Freedom.

The outdoor promotion of the “Civic Lenses” project, as always, attracted much interest among the citizens in Strumica, who were interested about the opportunity and on how they could become part of the big family of citizen journalists.

With comments and their own views on the video presentations of the citizen journalists that CIVIL presented, they also offered topics that include the problems they face every day at the local level.

Citizen journalism, as a new and innovative manner in the fight for freedom of informing and reporting in a creative way, encouraged the citizens of Strumica to be active stakeholders in social changes.

CIVIL’s team was available at the public event for all questions of those present, who at the same time were able to learn about the conditions for participating in the awarding cycles for citizen journalism.
