CIVIL – Center for Freedom submitted a request for obtaining authorization to observe the local elections that are scheduled for October 15, 2017, which is a common practice ahead of election processes that the organization observes. At today’s session of the State Election Commission, this request, among else, is on the agenda.
The adoption of the Report on the public inspection of the Voters Register up to August 28, and the pre-election financial report of the Ministry of Finance are also on the agenda of the session of the SEC.
According to the SEC’s announcement, it will also have to make a decision on the preparation of a new seal of the Election Commission of the City of Skopje, and on a draft pocket guide for elections, and it will also consider the requests for refusal to perform the duties of president and deputy-president of the Municipal Election Commission, after which a random selection of members of municipal election commissions is to be conducted, whose requests for exclusion have been accepted by the Commission.
