A total of 625 people are hospitalized for coronavirus-related complications in North Macedonia’s covid centers, including 248 patients in Skopje. According to the Ministry of Health on Monday, 440 beds are available nationwide.
More beds are expected to become available during the day as recovered patients are discharged.
All state covid centers have enough oxygen for patients who need it, according to the Ministry of Health.
Hospital capacities, if necessary, can be increased to admit more coronavirus patients, the release adds.
