The sun, the constitutional name, the international code MK and the number 30 as symbols featured against traditional red background is the design of the logo marking the country’s 30th anniversary since the declaration of independence.
The independence anniversary logo will be used at all public events of the state institutions in the coming period. It will be also made available to the public to mark 30 years since the independence referendum was held.
“The logo’s design was inspired by the Macedonian statehood since the day the citizens had decided to vote for an independent Republic of Macedonia and by everything the now North Macedonia is carrying as a democratic country committed to peace, democracy, cooperation and development, government spokesman Dushko Arsovski told a news conference Wednesday.
The 30th independence anniversary will be marked by projects held until September and financially supported as part of the fifth stimulus package, designed for the event-organizing industry.
