The US Department of Defense on Wednesday announced a further military aid package for Ukraine worth around $300 million, as Kiev continues to fight against the Russian invasion, transmits MIA.
The package includes ammunition for various weapons systems that the US has already delivered to Ukraine, according to the Pentagon.
The announcement comes after US President Joe Biden promised another round of military equipment for Ukraine during the G7 summit in Japan.
The US is considered Ukraine’s most important ally in the fight against the Russian invasion and has delivered military aid on a massive scale.
According to Pentagon figures, the US has provided Kiev with military aid to the tune of around around €35.2 billion since the war began in February 2022.
