Ahead of the referendum scheduled for September 30, this week the Chancellors of Germany and Austria, Angela Merkel and Sebastian Kurz are coming to Skopje, as well as NATO General Secretary Jens Stoltenberg.
Their visit was announced by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, emphasizing that this visit of three world statesmen to Skopje is another positive signal, recognition and support for Macedonia.
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev commenting today the documents that “WikiLeaks” published that the name “Republika Severna Makedonija” had been accepted back in 2008, stated that this is a reason more for us to stand together and to provide a secure future of the state.
The Chamber of Commerce of Macedonia is giving the Government full and unequivocal support for the referendum, and after the processes in regards to membership in EU and NATO are completed, it expects for the political parties to reconcile and for even better conditions for the development of the economy to be created.
Macedonia companies need to grab the new chance and to wisely, efficiently and innovatively make use of the signed agreements with Greece and Bulgaria. Previous obstructions and obstacles for a maximum business cooperation with these two neighbors have been removed, said today Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.
Nikola Gruevski from a press conference in the Parliament of RM announced today that he would not appear tomorrow in the Court of Appeal, and that not even his lawyers would be attending the session for the case “Tank” because, as he said, the decision has already been made politically.
Gruevski accused that the government is leading a political hunt against him, and that the judges are professional, but are working, as he said, under pressure.

Special attention will be given to radicalization and the potentials of violent extremism arising from hate speech and nationalism in public space. After the working meeting, part of the participants will give statements for the public at 12.30 pm.
