From the opening of the parliamentary session for voting on the election of the new government, the opposition started with insulting words and attacks against the government, creating tensions from the very first day.
VMRO-DPMNE MP Igor Janushev, as first at the parliamentary podium, complained about the manner in which the mandates of the MPs were verified, and also criticized the way the new session was convened.
In his speech, he addressed the representatives of the majority with “criminals and racketeers”. MPs from among the lines of the majority as well as President of Parliament Talat Xhaferi reacted to this.
Remarks about the manner of convening the sessions and about the delay of the session were also made by MP Gordana Siljanovska Davkova.
