A sponsored black campaign has started on the social media, ahead of the local elections that are to be held in October. The party kitchens apparently are not wasting time, as they have already unofficially started the election (black) campaign.

A photomontage photograph of MP and SDSM spokesperson Kostadin Kostadinov has been shared on the Facebook pages “Beda” and “Luda Komunjara”, who is allegedly holding a poster that reads:

 “Circle NO in the elections because we steal even on vaccines, and double”, in another sponsored post the content of the text reads: “Circle NO in the elections because I lie to you, steal from you, laugh in your face and don’t give a f***”.

Among the Facebook users that participate in spreading this black political propaganda, supported by photomontage, is a Facebook profile of a certain Martina Gligorovska. Based on the content posted on this Facebook profile, it can be concluded that a supporter of the oppositional VMRO-DPMNE is in question. She massively shares the same content from the Facebook pages Beda and Luda Komunjara in other Facebook groups and pages, some of which are “Za MAKEDONIJA se raboti” , “Silna Makedonija”, “Zdravo Makedonijo 7” “Vladeenje na SDS – nacionalna katastrofa za Makedonija” “SDSM luzeri” etc.

This black campaign is followed by comments of other Facebook users with explicit hate speech. These are just some of the comments:

The black campaign, before and during the election campaign, has, unfortunately, become a normal occurrence in our society. CIVIL calls on citizens not to give in to these posts, no matter what party they come from, and to focus on analyzing the offer of the political parties and its feasibility for improving their lives and environment.
