NEWS OF THE DAY: Investigation on “Racket” case regarding Orce Kamcev’s money ends
Public prosecutor for prosecution of organized crime and corruption, Vilma Ruskoska, has submitted suspect Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 a decision for finalized investigation on the “Racket” case, who today was in the Prosecutor’s Office for the first time after his arrest to give a statement. His lawyer Saso Dukovski considers that Jovanovski’s right to defence has been violated, because until this moment they haven’t had insight into the evidence and the grounds for suspicion against him.
“Today for the first time since the start of the investigation, namely from when the order was given for conducting an investigation from the Prosecutor’s Office for organized crime, and the arrest of Bojan Jovanovski, and after all actions that have been taken by the Prosecutor’s Office, today he was summoned for the first time to give a statement in the Prosecutor’s Office. And that would be all right, but it’s not all right to be given notification for finalized investigation at a moment when you have no idea about what evidence you are being accused of, what the grounds of suspicion are, what evidence is against you. At the same time, here, it’s this notification for a completed investigation dated September 23, 2019. This hasn’t happened in the history of the Macedonian judiciary”, outlined Dukovski after leaving the PPO.
Verusevski: The documentation on the wiretapped conversations was in SDSM
Former intelligence officer Zoran Verusevski, who today as a witness was summoned for the “Target-Fortress” case, stated that he received the first information on the wiretapped conversation at the end of 2010, when he was in charge for security policy in the Social Democratic Union.
At today’s testimony, Verusevski said that all information and findings in regards to the illegal wiretapping ended up in the political party, and that the leader of the party has insight into the entire documentation.
“The documentation is in the party the entire time, and the leader of the party manages it”, said Verusevski, adding that he has not taken advantage of any information for personal interests, nor has that ever crossed his mind.
SPO “Spare fund” for defence of Katica Janeva
Katica Janeva in a letter has requested for part of the money of the SPO “spare fund” to be used for paying the costs for her defence, as a suspect in the “Racket” case.
As “Fokus” reports, the prosecutors used the “spare fund” for weddings, mishaps…, and was filled with 3.000 denars from the prosecutors and 1.000 denars from the remaining SPO employees. Janeva managed the fund, but the prosecutors don’t know exactly how much there is in the fund, given that this money had continuously been used for private and official purposes.
Janeva is to give a statement as a suspect in the “Racket” case tomorrow before prosecutor Vilma Ruskovska.

OPINION
The salaries not to be raised, the money not to be returned!
In three years we’ve seen and heard all kinds of things, but the essence is one, the message is one. The Macedonian democratic transformation from a pro-putin (erdogan, orban, salviny), kleptocratic and authoritarian hellhole of Europe to a modern democracy with European perspectives has to be prevented. That’s the agenda, that’s the goal. That’s why all the capacities, and they aren’t small, are focused against that. By Xhabir Deralla

Manual for successful governance
- Do not forget that winning elections is actually a decision of the voters to give you trust to manage the state, and not to dispose with state resources! Revivals are now paying the price because they didn’t understand that and behaved as if the state was their “grandfatherland!”, writes Kosta Stoimenovski.
