NEWS OF THE DAY: Alliance for Albanians and Alternativa: We are not negotiating for participation in Government
The Coalition Alliance for Albanians and Alternativa today at a press conference announced that their representatives have not had any official meeting or any other meeting on the topic of participating in the new government and that they will not negotiate until DUI exhausts the right to be part of the future government, that is, to become the opposition. For them, DUI is legal, but illegitimate winner of the elections among the parties of the Albanians.
“Even though we are legitimate winners of the July 15 elections in the Albanian political camp, we will not enter into negotiations as long as DUI does not fulfil the pre-election promise for Naser Ziberi to be a prime minister. As we said, if the proposal for Naser Ziberi to be a prime minister comes to Parliament, we with our 12 MPs will vote for him. However, if DUI does not succeed to realize this promise, for which it has legitimacy, that party has no right to be part of the future government and its place is in opposition”, said Alternativa’s Secretary General Skender Zeid Rexhepi at a press conference.

After a long period of greyness lurking over the social processes in our country, there is not a single area for which ideas for radical reforms cannot be developed, through which the ill cell of society needs to and has to be treated. The future Government of the Republic of North Macedonia will be faced with the challenge of completely combatting the crime, establishing
the rule of law and an economically better state as the main goal in implementing the chapters set by the EU, among which also the goal for reforms in the administration.
