Bulgaria’s Consultative Council on National Security (CCNS), in relation to the topic of the Republic of North Macedonia, will be convened in the first half of January. This was announced by Bulgarian President Rumen Radev before journalists following the ceremony at which the Central Election Commission handed the certificates to the elected President and Vice President of Bulgaria.
It is important for us to have a position of this political body, for which the parties will also have a clear position on what should be done in order to speed up the EU integration process of the Republic of North Macedonia, but having in consideration and respecting the Bulgarian national interest, stated Radev.
As main priorities in his work in his second term, he outlined strengthening of statehood, greater justice, more legality, protection of national interests and creating all necessary conditions and supporting the institutions in their work, with the purpose for Bulgaria to develop as a prosperous modern European country.
