SOCIETY PM Zaev: We have responsibility to create environment in which violence against women is unacceptable
All of us have a social responsibility to create an environment in which violence against women is unacceptable, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Zaev urged victims of domestic violence to speak out, seek help and report any form of abuse to competent institutions.“One of my personal commitments is peaceful resolution to all conflicts through a willingness to talk, through dialogue, in a dignified manner and with respect for others. At a time when the world retreated inside homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, reports have shown an increase in the violence against women. Therefore, it is very important that women speak out, say NO to violence, and report it immediately: www.mtsp.gov.mk/prijavi-semejno-nasilstvo.nspx. ,” Zaev’s post reads.
