At the conference of CIVIL “Perspectives 2021”, with the address of Ljupco Nikolovski, Deputy Prime Minister for Fight against Corruption and Crime, we reminded what are the future plans of the Government in terms of fighting corruption.
“Transparency and openness are half of the fight against corruption, so the Government made a decision by which all competent institutions, including the municipalities and the city of Skopje are obliged to publish publicly on their websites all documents and information related to their work within 30 days. . Officials are the face of the state and they should be the best of us, so the rights that those officials have can not be left out of control. We have formed a working group whose priority is to review the discretionary powers when it comes to appointing officials,” Nikolovski said.
