Zaev will discuss with Mitsotakis the Prespa Agreement, NATO and EU
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said that the upcoming NATO Summit and the implementation of the Prespa Agreement will certainly be some of the topics that will be discussed today in Thessaloniki with Mitsotakis, even though they are participating in an economic forum.
Zaev: Cooperation with Russia does not mean an alternative to EU and NATO
Reactivating the Joint Intergovernmental Commission with Russia does not mean any supposed response to the EU, but only commitments for intensifying the economic cooperation, said Prime Minister Zoran Zaev after today’s Macedonian-Russian business forum in Skopje. In response to a journalist question whether China and Russia can be an option if we do not receive a date for start of negotiations with the EU, Zaev stressed that the only alternative for our country are NATO and the EU.
“Titanic” case witness: More than 100 people from Pustec registered on three addresses
With the hearing of a witness employed in Police Station Resen, today the trial for the “Titanic” case election irregularities continued in the Criminal Court Skopje.
Witness Agron Kranlievski, in reply to a question from prosecutor Lile Stefanova, said that since 2012 he had been given more than 100 people to check on three addresses.

Political outwitting of the biggest political parties in Parliament, unwillingness and inability to find a compromise for the Auditor General and several other managerial positions are questioning the functioning of the State Audit Office, the Directorate for personal data protection is before a blockade, while citizens and NGOs cannot realise their rights on the basis of receiving public information or discrimination. There are vacancies that need to be filled in other bodies as well, such as AAVMS, MRTV…, but the Parliamentary Committee on Election and Appointment Issues needs to meet for this, in which neither the ruling parties, nor the opposition have a majority.
