The number of new infections has dropped after 106 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the past 24 hours out of 761 tests.
The number of recovered patients far exceeds the number of new cases, namely 603 recoveries were registered in the same 24-hour period, the Ministry of Health said Monday.
In its daily coronavirus statistics, the Ministry said that 20 people died of coronavirus-related complications. Most of the patients were in their late 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 84,129 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 63,532 patients have recovered.
The death toll has reached 2,550.
Currently, there are 18,047 active cases across the country, of which 10,757 are in the capital Skopje.
A total of 405,108 COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far in the country.
