“A poor society cannot hope for results and high achievements in ecology, because ecology is an expensive sport. However, that is the price that has to be paid and then there are multiple benefits. Awareness among citizens is slowly starting to rise, but with slow steps”, says Atina Murgasanska, President of the Council of the Municipality of Kumanovo for CIVIL Media.
She says that in the future she plans to build a waste recycling plant, with the assistance of European funds.
