The coronavirus variant identified in India was detected last week in a patient hospitalized in a private hospital in Skopje, according to the Ministry of Health on Monday. The patient had returned from Iraq, where he had been hospitalized for 10 days.
When he returned to the country, he was immediately transported to the hospital in an ambulance.
The patient’s condition is stable and the infection does not pose any public health risk, according to the Ministry of Health.
