The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Arjanit Hoxha, announced at today’s press conference that he was resigning, together with his two deputies, because, as he said, they could not identify their political action as a BESA movement, with a coalition partner using undemocratic action in order to stay in power, talking about DUI.
“If a regime was overthrown in 2016, another part of that regime was not overthrown. “Today, after 5 years, it has been proven that DUI did not reform, but perfected its methods of the classical regime,” said Hoxha.
According to him, the resignation is a moral act as well as respect for the BESA bodies. He says that in the BESA movement they work for pride and dignity, and not only for power.
“For us, the government is an opportunity to show that we can work in the interest of the citizens,” Hoxha said.
