NEWS OF THE DAY: DUI and SDSM negotiating on forming a new government
VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski today at a press conference replying to a journalist question pointed out that DUI leader Ali Ahmeti had informed him that he would start negotiations with SDSM because that party had won in the Macedonian bloc.
“We had an hour-long meeting with Mr. Ali Ahmeti last week in Parliament, where he informed me that he would start negotiations with SDSM with the explanation that it is a party that has won in the Macedonian bloc, even though I told him that I do not agree, because the party that has convincingly won in the Macedonian bloc is VMRO-DPMNE, but all right, that is his opinion, he is a person who has appropriate experience on the political scene and I wished him luck”, said Mickoski.
CIVIL NEWS
CIVIL’s call to its members, supporters, collaborators and all interested citizens to take part in the new action “Citizens forum for participation in government policy making”, reached many citizens, activists and supporters of the organization.
Civil activist and CIVIL collaborator Simona Maneva Zhivkova writes that she wants a Government without spitefulness and brakes:
– To develop a real political debate, of which the ultimate goal would be in regards to the rights, benefit and interests of the citizens, and not personal quarrels and desperate rhetoric that reflects in division, hatred and quarrels among citizens themselves.
To stop the practice of stubbornness and not to hinder themselves, especially when it comes to regulations in the area of social justice, and to finally show maturity and unity when it comes to such policies. Because we the citizens voted and deserve politicians in parliament who will pass laws in favour of the citizens.
To immediately pass the new law on labour relations that will protect the rights of workers.
Civil activist and CIVIL collaborator Pero Naumovski writes:
– The realization of the Concept for Popova Sapka development to be the first priority and first phase of the long-term strategic development of the Shar Mountains within the framework of the Polog planning region.
The government through the line ministries, the Agency for Regional Development in cooperation with the Polog planning region and the Municipality of Tetovo to be the holder of the implementation of the development project”.
