The researcher of the regional NGO Balkan Forum, Jules Striffler, who for some time has been following the situation in the Balkans, in an interview with CIVIL Media, commenting on the political situation in the Balkans, says that nationalist actors in these areas make their business from people’s difficulties.
“I think that politics serve to make the most of a division, to divide people and to accumulate capital. And this manner of acting is shameful, because people only want peace, stability and to live in harmony with each other. And I think that everyone else, who speaks about divisions of communities, about turning one against each other, is a criminal, adds Striffler while commenting on the political situation in the Balkans”.
He adds that a “Balkan Forum” priority is to preserve the multi-ethnic Kosovo society and that inciting rhetoric should clearly be left behind, and any side that claims that resorting to violence is the solution, instead of a peaceful dialogue, is a criminal.
Balkan Forum is one of the initiators of the establishment of the “LogEx“ network.

LogEx is a consortium of different organizations with a common idea such as circular economy, security, development of strategies on how to continue the focus on these topics, with the purpose to promote and include different entities of society, such as the business sector, local authorities, central governments, to improve legislation, as well as measures that need to be supported. The primary goal is how to attract the attention of the young people for them to be more aware about the potential, personal development and certainly employment through circular economy.
