The Criminal Court has frozen the real estate assets of those suspected in the “Empire” case, among which are businessman Orce Kamcev and the former director of UBK (Administration for Security and Counterintelligence), Sasho Mijalkov.
At the same time, a pretrial judge, acting upon two proposals of the competent prosecution for temporary suspension of executing financial transactions of legal persons for whom there is suspicion that with the criminal acts, the persons included in the specific case have acquired property benefit, the judge accepted the proposals and with decisions ordered several banks to stop the outflow of cash from the bank accounts of the involved legal persons”, is said in the announcement of the Criminal Court.
Today’s trial for “Titanic” has been postponed for Wednesday, when the court will be able to find Gruevski in court, but the Court does not have to wait for him to show up at the trial, and therefore they say that tomorrow they will try again to find Gruevski. If the court determines that Gruevski avoids receiving the decision, then forcible arrest or an arrest warrant will be requested.
The President of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, in an interviews for “Kurir”, says that Nikola Gruevski is innocent and that a hunt is being led against him.
“The case is politically motivated because the man is innocent, and is being held responsible for a case where there is no financial damage, whereas the good, the automobile, is being used by the Government. Well, didn’t they say that they would sell it, use the money, but I see that they are using it. And I cannot approve a political hunt ordered by the captured ‘Kacarska judiciary’”.
Despite the recommendations from Priebe’s Report, despite the promises of the Government that this composition is just temporary, the parliamentary parties have, nevertheless, decided unanimously to extend the mandate of the current members of the State Election Commission for two years.

CIVIL as an organization that has been following the election processes in the country from 2008, has more than once in its reports, recommendations and findings referred to the non-functioning of the current SEC, which was constantly repeating the same mistakes as the previous composition.
The Voters Register is not the only problem. CIVIL has quite a few times made remarks also about the expertise of the election administration and the protection of the voting right. Just as an illustration, out of a total of 59 complaints, only two have been adopted, while the rest are either denied or rejected.
