As of Monday midnight, the price of gasoline fuels is up by Mden 1.5 per liter, while that of diesel fuels is to rise by Mden 2 per liter, according to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).
This is a price hike of 2.54 percent on average for all oil derivatives, the ERC notes. The new retail price of Eurosuper BS 95 is now Mden 81 per liter, and that of Eurosuper BS 98 is Mden 83 per liter.
The retail price of Eurodiesel is Mden 73.5 per liter, and that of extra light household fuel is Mden 73 per liter.
The retail price of crude oil is also up and is now Mden 46.537 per kilogram. Price adjustments are due to international oil price fluctuations and changes in currency rates, the ERC notes.
