France donated Wednesday technical equipment and software for the Forensics Department within the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
French Ambassador Cyrille Baumgartner handed over the equipment and met with Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski.
The Lyon-based Integrated forensic institute for French Gendarmerie investigations (IRCGN) and the Directorate of Cooperation of Security and Defense (DCSD) within the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI), and implementer Ivotehna are partners in the project. The activity is part of the Franco-German Initiative on Small Arms and Light Weapons in the Western Balkans, the MoI said in a press release.
