“Yesterday we discovered both infections in the patient. Influenza virus and coronavirus. It is not unknown that it is possible to become infected with several pathogens at once. “Flu” in English is flu, so this combination was called flurona. The flu season is coming, which usually occurs between Christmas and Easter, and although it was not there last year, we had similar cases during the summer. “We need to see what the clinical picture will be for people who have both viruses at once.”
