“Does anyone know since when children resorts in Krushevo have changed their names to Talat Xhaferi and Amdi Bajram?, writes Twitter user “Lokumce#Apsaana”. False entry of data on Google Maps is used in order to “prove” that children resorts in Krushevo really have been renamed. In just 2 hours, the Tweet has been shared from fifteen other users, most fake profiles and part of the propaganda machinery close to the Levica political party, notoriously known for spreading fake news and attacks on this network.
As ‘evidence” to the question in the Tweet, an alleged map is attached with the renamed resorts, from which supposedly it can be seen that two of them changed their names to “Talat Xhaferi” and “Amdi Bajram”, the deceased MP of the Union of Roma.
This Tweet, in just 2 hours has been shared by fifteen other Twitter users, most of them fake profiles and part of the digital propaganda machinery close to the Levica political party. The Tweet is also shared by Jovana Mojsoska, senior official of this party and one of the most active on the social networks.
Actually, it’ a matter of tendentious manipulation and an untasteful joke, which is used to provoke interethnic hatred, and is made by entering false data, that is, the alleged new names on Google Maps.
