NEWS OF THE DAY: Travelling to Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro will be possible without a PCR test as of October 12
Based on coordination with the Ministries of Health from the region, today, at the government session we decided to allow nationals from the Republic of Serbia, Republic of Kosovo, Republic of Montenegro and Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina to enter the country without presenting a medical certificate with a negative RT PCR SARS CoV-2 test, announced Prime Minister Zaev on his Facebook profile.
“In these countries, from which the citizens until now had the obligation to present a negative RT PCR SARS CoV-2 test when entering-transiting our country, according to the principle of reciprocity, it has been agreed for our citizens to also be able to travel to these countries without the obligation of presenting a negative test.
This decision has been made upon a submitted proposal and a positive opinion of the Commission for Infectious Diseases, according to which to this moment there are no indications or a high number of positive cases entering from foreign countries, thus there is no high risk to the public health. The decision has been made for the purpose of realizing the necessary needs of the citizens, while the government urges for the travelling to be reduced to a minimum and only for urgent needs and by complying to all measures for personal protection against Covid-19”, said Zaev in the announcement.
