NEWS OF THE DAY

Cafes and restaurants to be closed one more week and a longer curfew, to be additionally decided for the religious holidays

Cafes and restaurants to be closed one more week and the curfew to be from 8.00 pm until 5.00 am, is the proposal of the Commission for protection of the population from infectious diseases to the government. The proposal that will probably be supported by the government, comes as a result of the epidemiological picture of the country, which, although is improving, still suggests that there is pressure on the hospital capacities.

According to the bans that are in force, hospitality facilities are not allowed to work, except for delivery of food and drinks and over the counter. The curfew instead of 10.00 pm to 5.00 am, continues to be in force from 8.00 pm to 5.00 am the next day, that is, two hours longer. Conferences and seminars are not allowed to be organized, gyms are not allowed to work, as well as betting shops, except for over the counter.

That protocol was presented as a whole before the State Health Commission and that protocol was adopted there and received a pass and we organized the consultative session. At the moment when we were supposed to elect the government, Arben Zekiri reported that he has symptoms, in the meanwhile you know that we let the opposition consider about online work of the Parliament. The opposition in no way accepted this”, stated at today’s press conference Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi.
