Bytyqi-Vickers: UK strongly supports North Macedonia’s development

Talks underway regarding two major investments of EUR 300 million, says Deputy PM Bytyqi

Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi met Wednesday with UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to the Western Balkans Martin Vickers, discussing various topics of mutual economic interest, news agency MIA informs.

Vickers reaffirmed UK’s support to North Macedonia’s Euro-integration processes and the support to the realization of the country’s green agenda, especially through investments in renewable energy sources and waste management.

Bytyqi thanked Vickers for UK’s support in the first stage in drafting the National Development Strategy 2021-2041, the Deputy PM’s Office said in a press release.
