Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bytyqi told reporters on Tuesday that the citizens should not be concerned as there will be enough heating energy, informs news agency MIA.
“ESM and Adora Engineering enter into negotiations that must comply with all legal regulations and procedures. Everything possible will be done. We claim with certainty that thermal energy will be provided and the citizens should not worry. The important thing is that the gas is provided as well,” Bytyqi said answering reporters’ questions following conference on labor migration.
According to Bytyqi, the decision of the Energy Regulatory Commission, which is an independent body, can be requested, and article three is clear and precise.
“As in January we provided thermal energy when we were left in the lurch, so now heating energy will be provided for the citizens of Skopje. Regardless of whether it is ESM or BEG, citizens will not be left without heating energy. Since I am not satisfied with the actions of the private partner, I would like the ESM to undertake operations,” Bytyqi said adding once again that no one can be exempt from the law
