Authorities announced that a boat sank in the Lulonga River in the northwest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, transmits the westobserver.com.
It was stated that at least 145 people on the boat were lost, and it was feared that the missing may have died.
It was shared that the goods and animals were also carried on the boat and that it sank due to excessive load.
While it is not known exactly how many people the boat carried, 55 people have been rescued so far.
