To mark the Day of the Army, Aug. 18, and the Army’s 30th anniversary, Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska and Army Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski will attend an Army Day celebration titled “30 Years of Security, Stability, Trust” at the military stadium in the City Park at 7 pm, writes MIA. The celebration will start with a platoon firing a cannon salute. Officers will present the Army’s new sophisticated equipment including new Oshkosh Joint Light Tactical Vehicles.
Army special forces troops will demonstrate their skills. The event will also include an army dog show.
The celebration will feature performances by the Military Orchestra, pop singers Kiki (Dajte muzika), Pere (Nokaut), Dac and Aleksandar as well as Last Expedition, DJ Babura Jr. and Eureka Dance Studio.
