DUI leader Ali Ahmeti with abuse of children in the promotional video launched the political campaign, thus violating Article 12 paragraph 4 of the Law on Protection of Children.
“Abuse of children for political and religious organizing and action is prohibited”.
This, according to our legal consultant, means general prohibition of using children in any form of political action, including also a political election campaign, such as Ahmeti’s video.
In addition, DUI’s candidate for the Municipality of Gostivar Nevzat Bejta, with sponsored content on Facebook, together with DUI leader Ali Ahmeti is photographed with a minor child.
CIVIL, as until now, demands from the parties, but also from parents, to respect the rights of children and to leave them out of politics! Children and minors should in no way be abused for political purposes and must not be involved in campaigns of political parties!
