Dear international organizations,
On this International Day for Tolerance, I write to you with a truly visionary proposal.
Let us establish an International Day of Tolerance for Tyrants. Such a day would honor the tireless efforts of governments and various international forums in fostering acceptance, tolerance, and – eventually – total obedience to tyrants. This is a great cause worth celebrating, especially as pro-democracy and progressive movements remain an existential threat to the stability of tyranny.
This idea also aligns with facts of reality. After all, much of the time you already tolerate, enable, or at least turn a blind eye to tyrants, war crimes, and genocidal wars. Would it not be more honest to rebrand today’s occasion to reflect this? It might even enhance your credibility – honesty tends to resonate with donors. Imagine the fundraising possibilities!
Furthermore, I propose additional observances to complement this day:
- World Day of Liars
- Global Day of Systemic Discrimination
- International Week of the RPC (Rich, Powerful, Cruel)
Each of these could be expanded into International Months, or even Decades, ensuring widespread participation and recognition.
But why stop there? Let’s reform the leadership of the UN and its countless bodies for greater efficiency. I suggest a rotating presidency among Russia, North Korea, China, and a few other highly qualified regimes across the world. The democratic principle here would be clear: open the door to all who demonstrate mastery in the art of oppression and strongmen’s statecraft.
Other international organizations will undoubtedly follow suit. Most are already halfway there.
And do not worry about protests or backlash. With lethargy and lies reigning supreme, resistance is increasingly unfashionable.
Yours in strategic compliance,
Xhabir Deralla
