The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 47,100 Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24 to August 29, including 350 on August 28. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
The Russian troop’s total combat losses included also 1,947 tanks (+5 over the past day), 4,269 armored fighting vehicles (+12), 1,060 artillery systems (+10), 279 multiple launch rocket systems (+5), 149 anti-aircraft warfare systems (+1), 234 aircraft (+0), 203 helicopters (+1), 3,188 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+17), 15 warships/boats (+0), 844 unmanned aerial vehicles (+6), 101 special equipment units (+0). A total of 196 Russian cruise missiles (+0) were shot down.
It is noted that over the past day, Russian troops have suffered the highest losses in the Donetsk direction.
