“Of course, Ukraine needs our military support. We need to support Ukraine with modern weapons. I call on all my colleagues in Europe and in other parts of the world to help Ukraine with heavy weapons. Our country will provide heavy weapons, armored vehicles and self-propelled howitzers. I want to call on our allies to do the same,” the Dutch prime minister said.
He noted that the war started by Russia against Ukraine could last longer than everyone expected. However, this does not mean that the world can stand back and passively observe what will happen, Rutte stressed.
As reported, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte is on a working visit to Ukraine. He has already visited the towns of Irpin, Borodianka and Bucha in the Kyiv region, which were destroyed by the Russian invaders.
