German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock is to travel to Ukraine “soon,” Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at a news conference on Thursday, reports MIA.
The announcement comes following weeks of disagreement between both nations after President Frank-Walter Steinmeier was told in mid-April to cancel a planned visit to Kiev.
Scholz said that it was a “good thing” that Steinmeier had earlier spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to resolve the row, but did not comment on possible travel plans of his own.
