A flight from Sofia to Skopje is to be established in about two months, announced Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, who outlined that from now on good neighborliness between Bulgaria and North Macedonia will be measured with concrete implemented steps and goals, and not just through political statements.
– Today we clearly state that the Sofia – Skopje airline route will be a reality. What we are working on is to have precise specifications in 30 days, and in 60 days for the airline route to be introduced. Hence, when we will start to work with precise results, we will give the people of the two countries the opportunity to travel freely, to do business freely, said Petkov at the press conference after the meeting with his counterpart Dimitar Kovacevski.
I am very happy, added Petkov, for being able to say that from now on good neighborliness will be measured with realistic achieved goals and results.
– This way we will show the two peoples of the two countries that good neighborliness is measured practically, not only at the level of political statements, but at the level of real results of business and work and at the level of travelling from Sofia to Skopje in 20 minutes, said Bulgarian Prime Minister Petkov.
