Agreements were signed between Albania, Northern Macedonia and Serbia at the seventh meeting of the “Open Balkans” initiative, which is being held today in Tirana.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, his Macedonian counterpart Zoran Zaev and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic signed an agreement on conditions for free access to the labor market in the Western Balkans, which will allow the introduction of a single work permit for the three countries. The three leaders also signed an agreement on connecting the system for electronic identification of citizens of the Western Balkans.
The Ministers of Agriculture of Albania and Serbia, Frida Krifca, Branislav Nedimovi и and Deputy Minister Trajan Dimkovski, signed the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Veterinary, Phytosanitary and Food and Animal Safety.
The agreement between the governments of Northern Macedonia and Albania for mutual recognition of the authorized authorized business entities for security and safety (AEOS) was signed, as well as the agreement between the Albanian and Serbian governments for mutual recognition of the authorized authorized business entities (AEOS).
At the Forum for Agriculture and Regional Cooperation, Prime Minister Rama said the signing of the agreements “opens a new era in the Balkans.”
– This is a new era for the Balkans. “I would ask you to open a common market for co-operation today with the aim of exchanging students and involving the agricultural sector,” Rama said.
The signing of the agreements, he added, will contribute to the growth of the agricultural sector.
– I am sure that today the number of people will be happy, companies that go from Albania to Northern Macedonia or Serbia to export products because for them the road is already open and full activity without borders. “This is a remarkable achievement, because today we have practically established this important platform with our signature and from January they will see the benefits,” Rama said.
