XHABIR DERALLA
One of the many ways in which black propaganda functions are the various “caring” public calls and condemnations of prominent intellectuals, journalists and activists. Goal: to reduce their influence and public trust in them. Old habits die hard. Typical for the time of the regime, they cannot refrain from making blacklists. And so, they “bravely” stand behind the shield of anonymity (in every sense of the word), and number names of people who, supposedly, are silent about one or another topic. Some would say they are just ordinary grouches.
But that’s not so. The least that can be said is that their half-literate, but poisonous posts are typically online violence. And not only that. It’s about a carefully packaged propaganda. That’s their job. They are paid well for that, except those who participate in the ugly pursuit because they are manipulated and misled.
If you also analyze the expressions they use in their ironic posts, you will notice what bothers them.
The word progressive bothers them the most. They regularly put their posts in connection to progressive people, groups, initiatives, editorials and organizations. All that the propaganda can (allow itself to) do is to attack them that “someone out there did not do something” or “did not react to some action or event”.
The propagandists and their infantry on the social networks are here to discredit and to provoke hatred, and not to criticize and to demand change.
For the bosses of the propagandists, the enemies are precisely those who work hard on defending and promoting human rights and freedoms. The propaganda has the task to destroy those ideas. It has to destroy them. For them, non-discrimination, multiculturalism, European values, social justice, anti-nationalism, sustainable development are horrible…
Their intentions are not good and certainly not clear. Even when they make a good point, they do it not because they are affected by some injustice, but because they are fighting for a position for they themselves to do injustice. They try to forget or relativize the violence and criminal of the past. Certainly, to hide also their own weaknesses – illiteracy, incompetence, immorality… In the long run, that gives the opportunity to “justify” their wrongdoings and crime more easily, if they come to positions of power.
Some are surprised how even direct political opponents are not as much of a frequent target of the ill-intentioned disinformation and hate speech, as are intellectuals, journalists and human rights activists. It’s not at all surprising. Their goal is to destroy or at least reduce citizens trust in progressive ideas. That those ideas are horrible or at least impossible, and those working on achieving those ideas are not good people. That’s the main goal.
To achieve their goals, propagandists have at their disposal a lot of black money, media… They use the anonymity of the social networks and… the growing number of useful idiots.
