The Minister of Health Venko Filipce in the news on TV Kanal 5 said that after the meeting of the Commission for Infectious Diseases scheduled for tomorrow, they will submit concrete proposals to the Government for the new restrictions will apply to the unvaccinated because, he said, they burden the hospitals the most.
– The hospital system is now most burdened by unvaccinated patients. We must definitely not tolerate that further. The winter season is coming and the time of colds and other patients will additionally burden the hospital system. In conditions when there are enough vaccines, it is absolutely not allowed for the citizens not to be vaccinated. By vaccinating, they not only take care of their health, but also the health system. We can not leave the health system overloaded like this for an infinitely long time, said Filipce.
He says that in recent days they have communicated about what measures have been introduced in the countries of the region and in some countries in Europe.
He reminded that as of yesterday, the measure is valid to enter the facilities and events for the citizens to submit a certificate for receiving two doses of vaccine or a certificate for having passed KOVID-19 in the last 45 days, counting from the day of recovery. Until now, it was possible to enter with a single dose of vaccine.
