A concert with bands and DJs from the entire region will take place on Thursday (July 1) starting at 7 pm at the Oteshevo Beach, Prespa Lake in North Macedonia. The All-Western Balkans Jam is organized by the Regional Cooperation Council to mark the Western Balkans becoming a roaming free zone as of July 1.
The concert, organized with the support of the government of North Macedonia, features performances by S.A.R.S. (Serbia), UZUN BABA OG! – SEKTOR 909 (North Macedonia), URAN B (Kosovo), HELEM NEJSE (Bosnia and Herzegovina), DJ SARDI (Albania) and WHO SEE (Montenegro). It will be livestreamed on RCC’s YouTube channel.
“This is the historic success of the Western Balkans that came as a result of almost year-long negotiations, facilitated by the RCC and European Union, after which representatives of all WB6 governments signed an agreement in April 2019, agreeing to first gradually reduce roaming prices and eventually cut them to 0 as of 1 July 2021. And from 1st of July, ready to start working intensively to zero roaming tariffs WB-EU,” the RCC said in a statement.
