Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his Macedonian counterpart Zoran Zaev are set to discuss during their meeting on Thursday bilateral cooperation and implementation of the Prespa Agreement, Greek government spokesperson Aristotelia Peloni told MIA’s Athens correspondent during a regular press briefing on Monday.
The meeting will take place following Zaev’s participation at the Delphi Economic Forum.
“Yes, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will meet with Mr. Zaev on Thursday. Topics of discussion will obviously be bilateral cooperation and implementation of the Prespa Agreement,” Peloni underlined.
Regarding the start of the tourist season on May 15, and whether it will result in reopening land borders for nationals of neighboring countries, she explained that “there’s a plan for safe reopening of tourism and border crossings, but more details will be presented by Tourism Minister Haris Theoharis at the end of the week.”
