The Institute of Public Health (IPH) reported 56 cases of the UK variant of COVID-19 in eight cities across the country in period 1-7 February.
Most of the cases were reported in Ohrid (25), Prilep (10) and Kavadarci (4).
According to analyses of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts (MANU), new variants have recently been detected, which points to a continued influx of new COVID-19 cases from abroad.
