The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, has not extended the state of emergency, who outlined that according to information from the Government, sufficient quantities of medical protective equipment have been provided for all citizens and that economic measures have been adopted for supporting the national economy.
In regards to the elections, Pendarovski said that they are necessary in order to have a functioning, instead of a dissolved, Parliament, and a legal and legitimate, instead of technical, Government.
Pendarovski, in these recent weeks, has been in contact with leaders of the political parties and with strategic partners from the international community.
