NEWS OF THE DAY: 85-HOUR BAN ON MOVEMENT FOR EASTER HOLIDAYS
The government at today’s session passed a decision for restricting movement in the period ahead of us, including also the Easter holidays.
During the weekend, including Monday, starting from Friday, April 17 at 4.00 pm until Tuesday, April 21 at 5.00 am, movement is restricted for all citizens.
The ban on movement for all citizens nationwide, every weekday from Monday to Friday from 4.00 pm to 5.00 am the following day, remains in force.
In addition, from Thursday (April 16) 4.00 pm until Tuesday (April 21) 5.00 am, movement in all picnic areas, parks and forests throughout the country is prohibited.

FILIPCE: Screening of population in Debar in order to assess acquired immunity to coronavirus
With the screening of the population in Debar, where there have been no news cases of COVID-19 for ten days, the immunity will be assessed in order to have directions of what can be expected with the pandemic across the country. Minister of Health Venko Filipce today announced that with part of the donation of 20.000 tests an analysis will be made of the created antibodies among the residents in Debar.
Filipce highlighted that the infected residents in Debar are well on their way to recovery, and that there are no new cases in the city as a result of the restrictive measures that have been taken.
STATE OF EMERGENCY, DAY 26
Over the past 24 hours, 26 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered. By cities as follows: Skopje -4, Kumanovo – 11, Prilep – 3, Tetovo -4, Veles – 2, Kocani -1 and Probistip -1.

The Ministry of Health informs that 4 patients have died at the Clinic of Infectious Diseases; a patient from Skopje (79-year-old), patient from Veles (58-year-old), patient from Prilep (67-year-old) and another patient from Skopje (63-year-old).

Today in Stip 3 patients have been registered who have recovered from COVID-19, who with mild symptoms were treated at home.

The Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Mancevski, announced that the “Stop Corona” application is available for downloading on mobile phones. As Mancevski said, it is a software that enables detecting contact with infected people up to two meters.
“The application provides a quick response to health experts about which people the infected person had been in contact in the past 14 days, it helps to inform potentially infected people in order to give them guidelines for self-isolation, testing or treatment”, said Mancevski, adding that in order for the project to be successful, it needs to be used as much as possible more massively.

Prime Minister Oliver Spasovski today met with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to our country, Miroslav Toman, whom he thanked personally and on behalf of the Government and the citizens for the donation of one million surgical masks from the Czech Republic, which arrived in our country last Friday.

Gasoline prices rise by half a denar, the price of diesel remains the same, and extra light household oil will go down half a denar from midnight tonight, decided today the Energy Regulatory Commission.
According to the Energy Regulatory Commission, the new price for EUROSUPER BS-95 gasoline will be 48,50 denars per litre, and EUROSUPER BS-98 will sell be sold for 50,50 denars.
